A Hard Look at Hard Cases: Pro-Life Boot Camp Coming to Milwaukee Area!

“Almost fifty years ago, a young 15-year-old girl became pregnant and had a lot of difficult choices to make, maybe more so than some teen girls, because this young girl was raped.”

Veteran pro-life speaker Pam Stenzel paused, letting her words sink into the hearts and minds of her teenage audience.  “But this young girl decided to give her child life and then decided to place that child with an adoptive family. And that child was me.”

Did you know that 60 percent of those who are pro-life support a rape exception? Join Pro-Life Wisconsin to hear nationally known and acclaimed speakers Pam Stenzel, Monica Kelsey and Kristi Hofferber, all of whom were conceived in rape, tackle the hard cases of rape and incest! These “living exceptions” will demonstrate why every life is valuable, from conception to natural death—regardless of how it was conceived.

Pope Francis calls abortion 'abominable crime' in strongest remarks to date

Pope Francis continues to disappoint liberals who wait with bated breath for him to change Church teaching on the sanctity of human life. Last week, the Pope reiterated in strong terms the Church's teaching on human life, stating that it is “a gift from God," and there for it is "a valuable and intangible asset, to be protected by all means and not to be discarded."

Around Wisconsin: 40 Days for Life Closes, Eucharistic Procession in Milwaukee, and Life Link in La Crosse!

Pro-Life Wisconsin is involved in a lot of exciting things happening throughout Wisconsin, and we'd like to share a few of them with you!

Spring Awards Dinner - On Friday, April 4, well over 100 pro-lifers gathered in Stevens Point to celebrate two dedicated and passionate pro-life advocates. A delicious meal was served, followed by a stirring address given to a packed house by Fr. James Kubicki. It was a wonderful evening, full of fun and encouragement! Click here for photos from the event.

Eucharistic Procession in Milwaukee - In Milwaukee, Bishop Donald Hying led the first-ever Eucharistic Procession to the doors of the Affiliated Medical Services abortion clinic in Milwaukee. Pro-lifers of all ages accompanied the Bishop, praying fervently for the end of abortion in Milwaukee and around the world.

40 Days for Life Closing Ceremonies - Pro-Life Wisconsin's affiliates throughout the state held closing ceremonies for their 40 Days for Life vigils this past weekend. In Stevens Point, our activist of the year Jen Dunnet led dozens of pro-lifers in a closing ceremony.

Life Link in La Crosse - Over 100 pro-lifers gathered in La Crosse Wisconsin on April 9 to protest the presence of an abortionist working at the Franciscan-Skemp hospital. This large group of passionate pro-lifers called on the leadership of this hospital to sever ties with this abortionist once and for all.

HHS Secretary Sibelius resigns, replacement worse?

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sibelius announced her resignation last week in the wake of a disastrous roll out of the Obamacare law. She will be remembered for zealous anti-life advocacy, and for seeking to violate the consciences of millions of Americans with the unconstitutional HHS contraceptive mandate.

Shortly after her announcement, President Obama announced his nomination for her replacement would be Sylvia Mathews Burwell. Ms. Burwell is currently Director of the White House Office of Management and Budget, and she was unanimously confirmed to her current position by Republicans and Democrats. No doubt Pres. Obama is hoping for a non-controversial confirmation by the Senate.

But will Ms. Burwell be any better than her predecessor on life issues? The short answer is no. It was revealed early last week that Burwell spent 10 years running the population control arm of the Bill and Melinda gates foundation---one the most powerful population control organizations in the world.
