Judge mandates "morning after" pill for children and teens of all ages
Last Friday, a federal judge ordered the FDA to provide the most common abortifacient "morning after" pill, Plan B, over the counter to children and teens of all ages. Pro-Life Wisconsin strongly condemns this violation of medical ethics and basic moral values. Peggy Hamill, Pro-Life Wisconsin’s State Director, issued the following statement on Friday:
“Abortifacients such as Plan B are dangerous. No one should use them, much less vulnerable underage children. The mandate issued today will encourage promiscuity among our youth, facilitate statutory rape, and increase the already staggering number of abortions in our country. This decision is highly irresponsible and it is harmful to our children.”

The Word Was Made Flesh
Today is the solemnity of the Annunciation---the commemoration of the conception of Our Lord in the womb of the Virgin Mary!
Relating the conception of Jesus to abortion, Dr. Don DeMarco writes,"The Gospel of Life is a strong defense of human life from conception to natural death. Its defense of life in the womb is of particular importance not only because of the prodigious rate of abortion throughout the world, but because of the ease with which abortion is rationalized as an acceptable procedure."
