State Primary Elections Tomorrow – Don't Forget to Vote!

Don’t forget to vote in tomorrow’s fall primary election (Tuesday, August 12) – let your pro-life voice be heard!

Please keep the following points in mind as you vote tomorrow:
  •  The Wisconsin fall primary is a “closed” primary.
  •  You have the choice whether to declare a party affiliation.
  •  You must limit your votes to candidates in only one party.
  •  If you cast votes for candidates in more than one party, your entire ballot will be invalidated.

PLW Victory Fund PAC candidate endorsements
The Pro-Life Wisconsin Victory Fund political action committee (PAC) has endorsed 39 candidates who are 100 percent pro-life and running for state office in the upcoming fall primary and general elections. We are pleased to be able to endorse these candidates who recognize the personhood of the preborn baby and who hold the principled and compassionate ‘no-exceptions' pro-life philosophy. Pro-Life Wisconsin Victory Fund supports candidates for public office who demonstrate a commitment to protect each and every innocent human life – in all circumstances and at all stages of development. Only when we have lawmakers who will fully protect preborn children as ‘persons' will we see an end to the scandal of legal abortion.

Middle Schooler Dies in Waukesha... HPV Vaccine to Blame?

A 12 year old Waukesha girl died last month of an unknown cause. Her mother and father, however, believe that her death was due to an HPV vaccine she received the day of her death.
An anguished mother in Wisconsin believes her young daughter suddenly died from a freak reaction to the vaccine for human papillomavirus. But she won't know for many weeks what killed her 12-year-old girl. "The only thing different about that day was that shot," a tearful Rebecca Prohaska told WITI-TV. "I wish I would've asked more about it before I agreed to it." Dad Mark Prohaska said "It has to be that vaccine."

In 2007, Pro-Life Wisconsin successfully defeated proposed legislation that would have mandated an HPV vaccination for all girls entering the sixth grade in public, private, and charter schools. Click here for comprehensive information on the dangers of Gardasil and other HPV vaccines.

A Going Away Present that Saves Lives!

Around this time of year, eager high school graduates head off to college. But as our young adults leave for the next four years, there's one going away gift you can give them that might just save their life---a Protective Power of Attorney for Health Care (PPAHC).

The PPAHC enables your son or daughter to appoint a person who fully respects human life, such as yourself, to make health care decisions for them in the event that they become permanently or temporarily incapable of speaking for themselves. This prevents hospitals and doctors from making decisions that might result in the loss of your child's life.

Pro-Life Wisconsin does not endorse any other Wisconsin end-of-life medical decision making documents, and we make ours available for free. Learn more about our PPAHC here, or click here to download a copy to give to your loved one!
