You Saved a Baby this Christmas!

By God’s blessings and your support, Pro-Life Wisconsin has spread the Gospel of Life with renewed energy and effectiveness in 2014. In fact, abortion rates are down by about 7% in the State of Wisconsin!

A perfect example of our effectiveness is the baby saved on the morning of December 20th, 2014. The Empty Manger Christmas Caroling event organized by PLW each year gathers pro-life advocates to sing Christmas carols around an empty manger, symbolizing the anticipation of human life growing in the womb, the same vulnerable mode in which Christ entered the world.

One young mother seeking abortion that morning was so moved by the carolers that she chose not to go through with the abortion. Joy was radiating from this young mother after she made the decision to keep her child. She proceeded to go out of her way to tell the carolers how happy and peaceful she was to have chosen life!

With your help, our message of joy and compassion to mothers in crisis can continue to change hearts and minds all year long.  We must not only sustain, but continue to expand our efforts if we are to see an end to abortion and all attacks on the life and dignity of the human person.

Act now! Make a year-end tax deductible donation by December 31st to propel these pro-life efforts into 2015. As evidenced by this story, your contribution will save lives!

State of Michigan Orders Shutdown of Detroit Area Abortion Clinic

The state of Michigan has temporarily shut down an abortion facility due to allegations of unsanitary conditions and a woman being rushed to the emergency room. Pro-lifers gathered outside the facility to call for its permanent closure.
About two dozen abortion opponents gathered this afternoon at the site of the Women's Center of Southfield – closed now pending the outcome of a state investigation – to demand its permanent closure.

They were fueled by recent allegations that the facility failed to maintain a sterile environment and proper staffing by a registered nurse and by accusations that a doctor perforated a patient's uterus earlier this year during an abortion in February. The woman was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
