Undercover videos expose Planned Parenthood in New Jersey, Virginia

On Tuesday, February 1, Live Action released new undercover footage showing a Planned Parenthood manager advising a man and a woman posing as a pimp and a prostitute on how to keep his ring of underage girls appear “as legit as possible” while obtaining his victims secret abortions, contraception and STD testing. Read an article from LifeSiteNews here.

On Thursday, February 3, Live Action released video footage from a Richmond, Virginia, Planned Parenthood, presenting a similar scenario as the New Jersey video. Read an article from LifeSiteNews here.

And finally, on Friday, February 4, Live Action released undercover footage from three more Virginia Planned Parenthood clinics – in Falls Church, Charlottesville and Roanoke – which clearly show staff willing to aid and abet the sexual trafficking and exploitation of minors and young women. Read Live Action's press release here.

Live Action stated they will release footage from four additional Planned Parenthood locations this week. Stay tuned!

Last year, Live Action released two undercover videos taken at two Wisconsin Planned Parenthood facilties -- Milwaukee and Appleton.

Planned Parenthood receives hundreds of millions in taxpayer dollars every year. The time to defund Planned Parenthood is now!

Our 2010 annual report is now online

We posted our first-ever annual report on our website (thanks to development director Steve Karlen for spearheading this project!). We’re really proud of everything we accomplished in 2010, and you’ll be amazed when you read our year in review. We also think you’ll be proud to be a part of our Pro-Life Wisconsin team.

In 2010 we made tremendous progress toward building a Culture of Life in Wisconsin. The efforts of Pro-Life Wisconsinites from Lake Superior to Kenosha are responsible for bringing the total protection message to thousands of families throughout the state. Educational materials, print and broadcast advertisements, letters to the editor, calls and emails to legislators, and a strong presence at parades, fairs and other community events proclaimed the sanctity of life from conception to natural death. These efforts have borne great fruit!

What all is covered in the annual report that you need to read?
-  Something unique happened every single month;
-  How we’re educating Wisconsin;
- Our comprehensive print resources;
- The True to Life Media Campaign;
- Our Speakers Bureau;
- Our investigative research;
- The Sharon Schumer Memorial Scholarship rewarding high school seniors for their pro-life activities;
- Our Pro-Life Wisconsin affiliates located throughout the state;
- Our successful pro-life gains in the 2011 election year;
- And much more!

Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin to celebrate teenager featured on MTV's "No Easy Decision" abortion show

On Dec. 28, MTV aired a half-hour special, “No Easy Decision,” telling the stories of teenagers who had abortions. Watching the show, you can see how abortion continues to affect these women. Read an article by Jill Stanek about her observations here. You can watch the show here on MTV’s website if you haven’t seen it yet.

Fast forward to Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin’s marketing/event planning department. Someone there thought it would be a good idea to celebrate MTV’s show and a post-abortive teenager at the same time! One of the teenagers featured on “No Easy Decision” currently lives in Milwaukee (and is named by PPWI in their marketing of the event).

PPWI will be hosting two screenings of “No Easy Decision” — one in Milwaukee and one in Madison – and PPWI is advertising that the young woman will be in attendance to push abortion.

It is sad beyond belief that this young woman is allowing herself to be used by PPWI. We can only pray for healing for her. As one of the young women said on the show, “I wouldn’t choose abortion as the first option for anybody. It’s the toughest decision ever to make in your life.

Phillippine bishops call for "civil disobedience" in oppostion to anti-life legislation

From LifeSiteNews:

Two Catholic bishops in the Philippines have called for a campaign of “civil disobedience” against the country’s controversial “reproductive health” bill (RH bill) should the measure pass.

“We bishops, are willing to be imprisoned, together with our priests, and protest the immoral things there (RH bill). To be firm with our teachings, let them imprison us!” Bishop Arturo Bastes of Sorsogon told Radyo Veritas, according to the bishops’ CBCPNews. “We will have a civil disobedience! Those laws that are immoral, we will tell the people not to obey.”

“We are just saying what is right! We are going to proclaim whatever it is,” said Archbishop Ramon Arguelles of Lipa. The archbishop cautioned that the campaign is not aimed at overthrowing the government, and should be carried out peacefully.

Various incarnations of the bill, which promotes population control through abortifacient contraception and sterilization, have been advanced for over a decade through a persistent, aggressive, and well-funded campaign by Filipino legislators and activists. Pro-lifers, led by the nation’s influential Catholic bishops, have urged the government to promote moral measures such as natural family planning.

Roundy's/Copps: NARAL donation will not happen again

A little over a week has passed since we asked pro-lifers to contact Roundy’s/Copps regarding their sponsorship of NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin's Roe v. Wade "celebration". Roundy’s is the corporate parent of Copps and is based in Milwaukee. We specifically targeted Roundy’s from NARAL’s list because it is a Wisconsin company, and a boycott of Roundy’s 155 stores would have the greatest impact.

We received official confirmation of Roundy’s official position regarding pro-life/pro-abortion donations:
Copps and Roundy’s Supermarkets have never made the decision to support either pro-choice or pro-life organizations, events or campaigns. We have left those decisions of support up to our individual customers and employees.

But we had to press further… what exactly transpired for Copps to be listed as a NARAL sponsor? What steps are being taken to ensure it didn’t happen again?

What we found out: Without authorization (since it is against corporate policy), a Copps store manager donated a $25 gift card to NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin for their event. Roundy’s acknowledged the donation should not have occurred. The employee has been reprimanded and all store managers have been informed of Roundy’s official position to ensure that such a donation will not happen again.

This admission from Roundy’s is a result of a deluge of pro-lifers calling and emailing their offices. The Roundy’s spokesperson told us they responded to pro-lifers for hours. THANK YOU! This incident is further proof that pro-life boycotts work. Not every company responds in five or six days, or even a couple months like Kohl’s did, but the combined efforts of pro-lifers certainly are at work here.

When Copps/Roundy’s admitted the donation was a single $25 gift card, we realized (yet again) how pathetic NARAL is. Their listing of corporate sponsors may look impressive, but $25 here and there certainly won’t prop up the abortion industry for long. Especially when pro-lifers make it known they will not shop somewhere that bankrolls abortion.
