Happy Fourth of July!
On July 4th we celebrate the birth
of our nation, a country founded on the principles of liberty and
justice for all. As we celebrate with our families and communities, let
us not forget that we as pro-lifers are working diligently to restore
legal protection of our preborn brothers and sisters. We look forward
to one day celebrating a Fourth of July when life, liberty and the
pursuit of happiness are protected rights for every person in the
United States − born and unborn.
As we celebrate Independence Day, we couldn’t think of a better time
for us to reflect on our Pro-Life Wisconsin mission. Pro-Life Wisconsin
exists for a singular purpose: to restore and protect the inalienable
right to life of all citizens of our state, whether born or preborn,
young, old, disabled or terminally ill. We affirm that the right to
life exists at the moment of fertilization and extends until natural
death; this truth being handed down by God and articulated in the
Declaration of Independence.
God
bless you and your families, and may God Bless America!

Pro-Life Wisconsin's gubernatorial
endorsements spark Planned Parenthood press release and Capitol Times
news article
Pro-Life Wisconsin's Victory Fund Political Action Committee (PAC) has
endorsed Scott Walker and Mark Neumann in the Wisconsin governor race.
Read the June 22 press release on the endorsements here.
On June 28, Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin put out a press release
focusing on the Victory Fund PAC endorsements. Read PPWI's press
release here.
Finally, on July 1, Madison's Capitol
Times newspaper discussed, at length, Pro-Life Wisconsin's
endorsements. The article correctly states that Pro-Life Wisconsin
opposes abortion in ALL cases. Read the Capitol Times article here.

Milwaukee man charged with 11 counts of sexual
assault of a child; told her to have an abortion
A Milwaukee man is charged with 11 counts of sexual assault of a child.
The child is a 15-year-old girl he met online. When the girl became
pregnant, the man told her to have an abortion, according to the
criminal complaint. Read the Fox News story here.
As Live Action has shown over and
over in their undercover videos, Planned Parenthood covers up sexual
abuse. Live Action exposed a Milwaukee Planned Parenthood telling a
15-year-old girl how to cover up her pregnancy from her 31-year-old
boyfriend. Watch the video and read more here.
While situations such as the above abuse story are sad, they are not
unexpected. Planned Parenthood is in our schools, teaching minors how
to have sex. Milwaukee Public Schools are handing out condoms to high
school children. Read about that here.
As Pro-Life Wisconsin has stated in our press releases, and testified
at the state Capitol, Pro-Life Wisconsin opposes the sexualization of
our children. As parents and concerned citizens, we need to fight this
continued assault on our youth. Chastity/abstinence is the only message
that will protect their bodies and preserve their innocence. We adults
must have the courage and confidence to raise the moral bar for our
children - to show them that we love and care for them by expecting the
best for them. Only then will things get better.

Pro-life sidewalk counselor training
Pro-Life Wisconsin and the Rockford Pro-Life Initiative are
co-sponsoring a sidewalk counselor training session. The event will be
Saturday, July 31 from 9 a.m. to noon at St. Bridget Parish, 600
Clifford Ave., Loves Park, Ill.
Sidewalk counseling is exactly what the name implies — standing on the
sidewalk outside an abortion clinic, counseling women and couples on
their way inside. It is a last attempt to turn their hearts away from
abortion and offer real help. Veteran sidewalk counselor Jeff Eschbach
from the Pro-Life Action League will be conducting this free seminar
that is open to people of all ages who are interested in knowing how to
be an effective witness for Christ and life at an abortion clinic. This
training is also very helpful for anyone interested in learning
how to talk to people about abortion and help guide them to real help.
To attend, email Kevin at
everylifematters@comcast.net or call (815) 494-0333. You MUST pre-register in order to
attend.
