Horror: Aborted babies incinerated to heat UK hospitals

Abortion is evil. As pro-lifers, we know that. But it is by and large a silent evil, hidden from the general public by the smiling faces and brilliant public relations campaigns of organizations like Planned Parenthood. After all, Planned Parenthood's mission is, "Care. No matter what," right?

A recent story from the UK shatters the illusions that abortion is about care or women's rights. It reveals abortion for what it is---the most horrific atrocity in human history.
The bodies of thousands of aborted and miscarried babies were incinerated as clinical waste, with some even used to heat hospitals, an investigation has found.

Madison Common Council Tweaks Buffer Zone Ordinance

With no debate or dissent, the Madison Common Council on Tuesday, March 18 voted to modify an anti-free speech buffer zone ordinance aimed to quell pro-life sidewalk counseling outside the Planned Parenthood abortion facility on Orin Road.

The changes to the buffer zone ordinance, first passed on February 25, are confusing.  For example, while reducing the size of the buffer zone from 160 feet to 100 feet the modified ordinance adds a 30 foot buffer zone around a health care facility’s driveway if it falls outside the larger zone.  In addition to a licensed physician, the modified ordinance adds a nurse practitioner to its definition of “health care facility.” These changes simultaneously shrink the size of and expand the number of bubbles throughout the city. It is obvious that Alderman Lisa Subeck and the city attorney are thoroughly confused and scrambling to somehow make their unconstitutional ordinance constitutional.

Madison Mayor Paul Soglin is expected to sign the buffer zone ordinance this week.  Alliance Defending Freedom attorney Matt Bowman will then amend a federal lawsuit on behalf of Madison Vigil for Life, Pro-Life Wisconsin’s Dane County affiliate. The Madison buffer zone saga is gaining national attention as the U.S. Supreme Court nears a decision on the constitutionality of buffer zones.  Please click here for a Washington Times article.

The Economics of Sex

Many times, objections to contraception are ignored or dismissed as just an anachronistic, religiously fueled fear of human sexuality. In fact, most people believe that, without contraception, we would descend into another dark ages, filled with poverty, disease, and human oppression.

Yet, despite these common misconceptions, modern sexual anarchy has done untold damage to both human relationships and the dignity of the human person. Setting aside moral objections to contraception, the compelling new video, The Economics of Sex, illustrates more reasons contraception just doesn’t make sense.
