Hundreds
attend Rallies for Religious Freedom across
Wisconsin, joining thousands around the U.S.
Hundreds of Wisconsinites Rallies for
Religious Freedom on Friday, strongly
protesting the Obama administration's
mandate of contraception coverage.
In
Madison, 500 people attended. Bishop Morlino
delivered the keynote speech (photo, right),
which you can listen to online here.
The Cap
Times, a Madison newspaper, covered
the rally in an article here (the
reporter misspelled development director
Steve Karlen's name and misquoted him; he
also misspelled the name of another
attendee). View photos here.
More
than 400 people attended the Rally for
Religious Freedom in Milwaukee. Despite the
rain, spirits were joyful. Bishop Hying
joined us at the last minute and spoke to
the crowd (photo, left). View pictures from
the Milwaukee rally here.
In Green Bay, hundreds attended a
last-minute rally at the Brown County
Courthouse. Fr. John Bergstadt, pastor of
St. John the Baptist Parish in Howard, read
a letter on behalf of Bishop David Ricken.
Read an article from the Green Bay
Compass on the rally here.
Across the country, approximately 55,000
turned out for the rallies, which were all
held from noon-1pm on Friday. Thank you to
everyone who attended and kept us in prayer!

Are you
interested in promoting your business,
organization or message to hundreds of
pro-lifers all while supporting the defense of
innocent human life? Consider a sponsorship of
Pro-Life Wisconsin’s Evening with David Bereit
in Madison on Thursday, April 26 or Spring
Awards Dinner in Green Bay on Saturday, April
28. Sponsorships start as low as $250 and go up
to $1,000, making it possible for businesses and
individuals of varying means to support the
event. Each sponsor gets a text ad in the event
program.
At a time when
pro-lifers are frequently called upon to boycott
businesses hostile to life, sponsorship of one
of our upcoming events is a great way to connect
with a like-minded and supportive audience. On
top of that, each sponsorship is a
tax-deductible contribution to support Pro-Life
Wisconsin’s efforts to build a culture of life
in our state. For more information, or to
sponsor one or both of the upcoming events,
contact PLW’s Director of Development Steve
Karlen, at steve@prolifewisconsin.org or
