The Supreme Court Decision that Changed Everything

On June 7, 1965, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a decision in the landmark case Griswold vs. Connecticut. To many, this decision appeared harmless, and yet it undoubtedly paved the way for the tragic Roe v. Wade decision just 8 years later.

How did Griswold lead to Roe? First, by fabricating a bogus constitutional "right to privacy", and second, by legalizing contraception and unleashing the contraceptive mentality. Combined, these two factors lead to the sexual revolution and abortion on demand.

Every year, Pro-Life Wisconsin commemorates the memorial of the Griswold v. Connecticut decision with pro-life vigils outside contraceptive dispensaries and abortion clinics. "We decided to mark it with not only public witness through public prayer vigils," said Peggy Hamill, Pro-Life Wisconsin's State Director, "but also to follow those public prayer vigils with a celebration of the family. Our vigils note the infamous anniversary and the need to take action. At the same time they are a public demonstration of the family unit, and the joy that is experienced in following God’s plan."

American Life League will hold "The Pill Kills" vigils, which are modeled after Pro-Life Wisconsin vigils, nationwide.

Griswold vigils will be held in Milwaukee, Madison, and elsewhere this year. For more details, please call 262-796-1111.

Rand Paul's Comments on Abortion Alarm Pro-Lifers

Sen. Rand Paul (R - Kentucky) has long been a strong pro-life advocate, and he is a the author of the Life at Conception Act, a bill that would outlaw abortion by establishing the personhood of the preborn child from conception.

But despite his pro-life credentials, Sen. Paul's comments during a recent interview, essentially claiming abortion would not be a priority for him if he were to become president, have greatly alarmed many pro-lifers.

"I think where the country is, is somewhere in the middle, and we are not changing any of the laws until the country is persuaded otherwise," Paul said.

This passionate young man is dedicating his summer vacation protecting innocent human life throughout the country of Ireland that is fighting a strong political battle to remain pro-life.

"It was during my high school years when I felt personally the call to pro-life activism," Jay says. "I became locally involved in the pro-life movement, especially with Pro-Life Wisconsin and 40 Days For Life. Meeting with Pro Life leaders, and especially going to the March for Life in Washington DC has really motivated me to become deeply involved in the pro-life movement, and that has become a central part of my life."
