Last chance to register for Pro-Life Wisconsin's Annual Auction Dinner

This Saturday, October 16, Pro-Life Wisconsinites from across the state will gather for PLW’s Annual Auction Dinner. The event will be held at the Marriott West in Waukesha. There are still seats available!

Archbishop Listecki wrote a column in this week's Milwaukee Catholic Herald, stating that abortion is the premier social justice issue facing society today:

Many people will criticize the Catholic Church’s position as disproportionately “pro-life.” It’s obvious to me that we can’t even begin to address other social issues unless there is a life to be concerned about; for us, abortion is the premier social justice issue.

Read Archbishop Listecki's entire column here.

Join Pro-Life Wisconsin, Archbishop Listecki and the Alliance Defense Fund's Matt Bowman this Saturday and celebrate life!

Seats are $50 per person, $475 per table of 10. Advance reservations are required.

PLW Victory Fund PAC general election endorsements available online

The Pro-Life Wisconsin Victory Fund Political Action Committee (PAC) has endorsed 61 candidates for state office in the November 2 general election. The Victory Fund PAC only supports candidates for public office who demonstrate a commitment to protect each and every innocent human life – in all circumstances and at all stages of development. Because we insist on this high standard, more and more candidates for elected office are 100% pro-life. Click here to view the list.

Pro-life marathon runners

Last week, we told you about Julie and Paul Frank, who were planning to run the Chicago Marathon in support of Pro-Life Wisconsin. Read more here.

The Chicago Marathon was this past Sunday, and the Franks finished for the second year in a row! The picture to the left is of Julie and Paul Frank after they finished the 26.2 mile marathon.

Here's what Julie Frank had to say:
I was so inspired to hear many other runners compliment me on my shirt, which stated "Running for the Unborn.. Pro-Life Wisconsin." They really helped keep me going! One man even stated that he thought there were no pro-life people in Wisconsin and he was glad to see one! I thank God for the opportunity to do this!

Carve a pro-life pumpkin this year

From American Life League:

American Life League is rolling out the second year of its Pro-Life Pumpkin carving contest. Submit photos of your pro-life jack-o'-lantern and enter to win $100 in pro-life gear.

"This is such a fun way to introduce kids to the pro-life movement," said Judie Brown. "Every person who steps on your porch this October 31 will get a lot more than a handful of Snickers. They’ll also be getting a message about human rights and personhood for all."

Last year, American Life League’s multi-talented researcher and ALL Report host Michael Hichborn showed up to work one October morning with snap shots of his newly-carved pumpkin featuring the silhouette of a preborn baby sucking her thumb. Needless to say, we were all duly impressed with Mike’s knife-wielding skills.

Mike and his wife Alyssa had used the yearly Halloween tradition to talk to their kids about standing up for preborn babies and the precious gift of human life.

We had to share his idea and soon we were swamped with requests for the stencil which is available on our website.

Even more impressive however were the dozens of original ‘pro-life’ pumpkin creations that were emailed our way. Clearly this had sparked some imaginations and we’re still hearing the stories of conversations sparked with neighbors.
