Pro-Life Wisconsin Testifies on Bills Defunding Planned Parenthood

On Wednesday, September 2, Pro-Life Wisconsin Legislative Director Matt Sande testified before a hearing of the Assembly Health Committee on Assembly Bill (AB) 310 and Assembly Bill (AB) 311, legislation that will further defund Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin (PPWI), the state’s largest abortion provider. Authored by Representative Andre Jacque (R-De Pere) and Senator Chris Kapenga (R-Delafield), AB 310 and AB 311 together will eliminate approximately $7.5 million in public funding from PPWI.

Please read Matt’s written testimony on AB 310 HERE, and please watch Matt’s public testimony on AB 310 on WisconsinEye HERE starting at 2 hours, 45 minutes (Internet Explorer only). Please read Matt’s written testimony on AB 311 HERE, and please watch Matt’s public testimony on AB 311 on WisconsinEye HERE starting at 6 hours, 9 minutes (Internet Explorer only).

Casey Mattox, senior counsel with Alliance Defending Freedom and a national expert on Planned Parenthood’s fraud and abuse of taxpayer dollars, also testified along with Sue Thayer, former Planned Parenthood of the Heartland clinic manager. Please watch their joint public testimony on AB 310 on WiscosninEye HERE starting at 1 hour, 43 minutes (Internet Explorer only).

We thank Representative Andre Jacque and Senator Kapenga for authoring these two critical bills, and we especially thank Assembly Health Committee Chairman Joe Sanfelippo for hearing them so expeditiously. The Committee is scheduled to vote on AB 310 and AB 311 on September 15.

She Used to Work for Planned Parenthood. Now She's Our Keynote Speaker!

Abby Johnson used to run a Planned Parenthood facility. She was proud of her work and thought she was really helping women. All of that changed on September 26, 2009 when Abby was asked to assist with an ultrasound-guided abortion. She watched in horror as a 13 week baby fought, and ultimately lost, its life at the hand of the abortionist.

That moment began a profound transformation in Abby's life. She is now a passionate pro-life activist, author, and speaker who travels the world speaking out for the unborn and helping others leave the abortion industry!

Come hear Abby's powerful message at our 2015 Annual Auction Dinner on October 17! Space is limited, so register now!
