National Day of Remembrance for the Unborn
Several Wisconsin communities will participate in a National Memorial Day for the victims of elective abortion. These vigils are sponsored by Priests for Life, Pro-Life Action League and Citizens for a Pro-Life Society. In Wisconsin, they are being organized and cosponsored by Pro-Life Wisconsin.
This powerful memorial "continues to emblazon in our minds...the fact that these tiny pre-born children are full people and deserve to be treated as people," said Peggy Hamill, Pro-Life Wisconsin's State Director.
In Wisconsin, the September 14th Abortion Memorial events will take place in the following locations:
Milwaukee - 3 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery (Children’s Section) at the burial site of over 1,200 preborn babies. (With Peggy Hamill, Pro-Life Wisconsin's State Director)
Dane - 10 a.m. at a burial site located on the church grounds of St. Michael's Parish. (With Matt Sande, Pro-Life Wisconsin's Director of Legislation)
