Pro-Life
Wisconsin launches new digital personhood
billboard in Green Bay
On Thursday Pro-Life Wisconsin launched a new
digital billboard in Green Bay comparing abortion
with slavery. The billboard--a PLW
original--emphasizes how the United States Supreme
Court sanctioned both forms of dehumanization.
"Abortion proponents so frequently try to justify
the slaughter of pre-born children by appealing to
the authority of the Supreme Court," said PLW
State Director Peggy Hamill. "But abortion is just
one example of the Court's long and deadly history
of arbitrarily picking and choosing which human
beings are given legal protection."
The billboard is based on Pro-Life Wisconsin's
video, The Final Frontier of the Civil Rights
Movement, which has been viewed more than 5,000
times on YouTube, and many more in live
screenings. The new billboard will be seen by more
than 64,000 people each day. It's already made a
splash on Facebook, where more than 1,000 people
have seen it since it was posted last week.

22 years ago today I was in the valley of
decision. I didn't know what to do. I was
pregnant, alone and afraid. I walked through
the door of the Meadowbrook mill in Minneapolis,
MN. You died 22 years ago today in my abortion and
I walked out that door emotionally and spiritually
wounded.
I miss you. Every year my longing for you
grows and I can hardly wait to see you in heaven.
You will run to me sweet girl. You will run to me
across that meadow of wildflowers and jump into my
arms and I will be healed. The waiting and the
grief will be over and we will be together for
eternity. How I long for that day. You are so
beautiful. I imagine your sweet smile. I bet you
look at lot like your sister Sarah.
I need you. I need you in my life. Our story has
changed hearts and lives Aubrey. I keep telling it
and people keep listening. There are children
alive today because I have shared. I will never
stop telling our story and I am very proud of you
for helping to save lives!
From LifeSiteNews:
Sandra Fluke’s speech at the Democratic
National Convention yesterday leaves one
scratching one’s head in bewilderment
wondering how America managed to raise such
a disgruntled, disillusioned woman—and that
a political party thought it appropriate to
give her a national audience at which to
spew her venom.
When Fluke lamented during her speech that
“too many women are shut out and silenced”
liberal columnist Kirsten Powers wondered on
Twitter if Fluke was talking about Saudi
Arabia or the United States.
“Women are ‘silenced’? Please…I find this
speech so offensive as a woman,” she
tweeted. “The idea that women are silenced
victims.”
Powers tweeted that Fluke should “visit
Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afghanistan
and then see how she feels about how the US
treats women…I hope that any young girl who
saw that Fluke speech has someone to tell
her it’s a lie.”
What insidious fear compels Fluke to endorse
a presidential candidate who would make
sure, in her words, that “we’d have the
right to choose”? What is this “right to
choose” that Fluke is so fearful about
losing and that seems to embody the spirit
of many disgruntled and disenchanted women
across America?
The right to choose is euphemistic for the
right of a mother to kill the innocent child
within her womb through extremely violent
means. Choice is euphemistic for the hideous
dismemberment, grotesque decapitation,
suction of a ripped apart body, and burning
poisoning of the youngest members of the
human family.
When did being a woman come to be synonymous
with the right to destroy human life in the
name of “choice”?
