Michels Carries 100% Pro-Life Message to General Election
The following statement was issued by Peggy Hamill on the Republican primary race for the U.S. Senate.
“It’s exciting and quite gratifying to see a 100 percent pro-life candidate win this Republican primary race. Tim Michels has proudly declared that life begins at conception and that he will work to defend the right to life of all preborn children.
“That is a message that resonates with voters. It is clear, consistent and compassionate. It is a message that is in stark contrast to the views of Senator Russ Feingold, and one that we believe will prevail in the November general election.
“More and more Wisconsinites recognize that abortion kills babies and hurts women.
Wisconsin needs U.S. senators who will vote to uphold the dignity of all human life.
“Pro-Life Wisconsin enthusiastically congratulates Tim Michels for his victory Tuesday night and looks forward to his victory in November.”
