Wisconsin College Campuses

Pro-Life Wisconsin, in partnership with Human Life Alliance, has sponsored pro-life inserts in the newspapers of Wisconsin’s two largest public universities.

The 12-page insert, called Did You Know?, is a compelling pro-life resource designed to educate people about abortion. Did You Know? was in the Post, UW–Milwaukee’s student newspaper, on April 13 and in the Badger Herald, UW–Madison’s student newspaper, March 13.

"Statistics show that 52 percent of abortions are performed on women younger than 25,” said Virginia Zignego, communications director for Pro-Life Wisconsin. “Abortion clinics are within walking distance of both UW–Madison and UW–Milwaukee. Students need to know what happens when an abortion is performed.

"Abortion is the leading cause of death among African Americans. Did You Know? shatters the silence of this great tragedy,” said Zignego. “Did You Know? contains powerful articles written by leaders such as Dr. Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King Jr., Star Parker, founder and president of CURE, and many others.”
