Pro-Life Wisconsin Celebrates the Life,
Mourns the Loss, of Father Charles Fiore, F.S.S.P.

“Pro-Life Wisconsin is saddened by the death of Father Charles Fiore, F.S.S.P., who was well known to Pro-Life Wisconsinites as an extraordinary priest and avid pro-lifer,” said Peggy Hamill, state director of Pro-Life Wisconsin. “We were privileged to have him serve on our Executive Board and Education Task Force in the nineties.”

Father Fiore was on the cutting edge of pro-life issues. He was outspoken against contraception even in the sixties and was among the few who, five years before Roe v. Wade, warned of the move towards abortion-on-demand. He founded several national pro-life organizations, including the first pro-life political action committee.

“Father Fiore was a brilliant apologist in defense of God’s precious preborn children,” continued Hamill. “He skillfully advocated, in written and spoken word, for the 100% no exceptions pro-life stance. Pro-Life Wisconsin is truly blessed to have known and benefitted from the advice of such a godly man as Father Fiore. We will miss him greatly.”
