Pro-Life Wisconsin reissues statewide alert:
“RU-486” regimen is deadly

As details emerge of the tragic death of Holly Patterson, a California teen who received so-called “reproductive health” services from Planned Parenthood, Pro-Life Wisconsin reissues the following statewide alert: The RU-486 regimen is deadly. Obviously RU-486 (or Mifepristone) is promoted and intended to abort (kill) a tiny baby boy or girl. Planned Parenthood and other peddlers of this drug regimen are at the same time downplaying the truth that RU-486 can kill the pregnant mother as well.

“When the FDA, with complete disregard for public safety, at the bequest of Planned Parenthood and other abortion advocates approved distribution of RU-486, Pro-Life Wisconsin warned of the doubly deadly nature of these powerful chemicals,” state Peggy Hamill, state director of Pro-Life Wisconsin. “There’s no such thing as ‘safe, legal abortion.’”

“A baby always dies and the death of Holly Patterson sadly illustrates that women can die too,” added Katherine Ribnek, communications director of Pro-Life Wisconsin. “We will never know the names and numbers of the multitudes of babies who are murdered through abortion, both surgical and chemical. Tragically we have another name to add to the growing list of fatalities of abortive women.”

Countering Planned Parenthood’s RU-486 promotional campaign, Pro-Life Wisconsin is backing up this most recent health alert with ongoing radio, web and print educational efforts. See www.prolifewisconsin.org for details on the deadly nature of Mifepristone (RU-486).
