UW–Madison attempts to normalize abortion

Recently, the University of Wisconsin–Madison posted a job listing for an “Obstetrics/Gynecologist in Family Planning.” One of the principal duties for this job is, “Clinical practice in family planning services including abortion provision and training.” View the job listing here: http://www.ohr.wisc.edu/pvl/pv_061376.html.

“UW–Madison is attempting to normalize abortion as routine medical procedure,” said Virginia Zignego, communications director of Pro-Life Wisconsin. “Nothing about ripping a preborn baby limb from limb qualifies as routine medical procedure.”

Through the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the UW–Madison Medical School includes participating in abortions as part of its residency rotations. Click here to view the document - http://www.obgyn.wisc.edu/residency/documents/Resident%20Learning%20Objectives.pdf.

Under the Family Planning Services rotation (page 6 in the online document), one of the program’s goals is, “To develop clinical skills in family planning and abortion services and to develop awareness of the larger role that access to these services plays in the lives of our patients.”

“Why is a public university, financed with taxpayer dollars, teaching future doctors how to kill innocent human beings?” asked Zignego. “UW–Madison is effectively encouraging students to participate in the abortion holocaust.”
