Wisconsin Students and Workers Observe
National Pro-Life T-Shirt Day

In the classrooms and through the corridors of Wisconsin’s schools and at offices statewide, Pro-Life Wisconsinites are speaking up today for the voiceless preborn. Sporting pro-life t-shirts in observance of National Pro-Life T-Shirt Day, students and workers are proclaiming the humanity of the preborn and expressing opposition to abortion in written words for all to see.

Bobby, a sophomore at Brookfield Central High School in Brookfield, wears the message “ABORTION IS HOMICIDE… You will not silence my message. You will not mock my God. You will stop killing my generation.” “I wear my pro-life t-shirts to school often,” said Bobby. “A lot of productive discussions take place on the school bus and at the lunch table. It is great to be acting today in solidarity with the victims of abortion in union with other pro-life students around the country.”

At Regis High School in Eau Claire, Lisa’s shirt reads: “Pro-Life Wisconsin: Defending God’s Plan--No Exceptions, No Compromises, No Apologies.” “I am proud of what I believe and advocate for—it’s no secret,” stated Lisa. “My friends agree with my message, and for others who may not agree at least they will be challenged to think about it today.”

National Pro-Life T-Shirt Day is an effort being promoted by Rock for Life, a division of American Life League. “As an American Life League associate in our state, Pro-Life Wisconsin is thrilled to participate in this grassroots, powerful means of spreading the pro-life message,” said Peggy Hamill, state director of Pro-Life Wisconsin. “We of course advocate the proclamation of the pro-life stance 365 days a year, and we are proud of our volunteers as they skillfully do so throughout Wisconsin.”
